Criterion 2.8.2 monitor efforts to implement UKM activities

Criterion 2.8.2

The person responsible for UKM is obliged to monitor efforts to implement UKM activities in accordance with the schedule that has been prepared so that they can take follow-up steps for improvement.

1) Main Thoughts:

a) Problems or discrepancies encountered in implementing UKM activities related to time, place, access to targets, implementers and methods and technology used in implementing activities can cause changes to the schedule for implementing UKM activities.

b) Monitoring the implementation of UKM activities according to the schedule prepared in the previous month is used to complete the implementation of UKM Puskesmas services in accordance with the activity implementation plan prepared.

c) Conformity discussions are carried out in monthly mini workshops to produce a schedule for implementing activities in the following month, and in quarterly mini workshops to monitor the role of relevant cross-sectors in the implementation of SME services.

d) The implementation plan for activities being implemented can be revised if necessary in accordance with changes in government policy and/or changes in community needs or targets, as well as rational improvement proposals.

e) Improvements to the activity implementation schedule are carried out every month and become part of the discussion in the monthly mini workshops at the Community Health Center.

f) Schedule shifts can occur between months or by implementing improvements to schedule components such as place, time, activity targets, implementers, as well as methods and technology.

g) Changes to activity implementation plans are possible if there are changes in government policy and/or changes in community needs and targets, as well as results of improvements and performance achievements. Changes to activity plans take into account proposals from implementers, cross-programs and related sectors.

h) Changes to the annual plan must be made for appropriate reasons as an effort to achieve optimal performance.

2) Assessment Elements:

a) Monitoring the conformity of the implementation of activities to the terms of reference and schedule of UKM service activities (D,W).

b) Discussion of the results of monitoring and achievements of UKM service activities by the head of the Community Health Center, person in charge of UKM Community Health Center, service coordinator, and UKM activity implementer in monthly mini workshops and quarterly mini workshops (D,W).

c) Persons in charge of UKM Puskesmas, service coordinators and implementers carry out corrective follow-up based on monitoring results (D,W).

d) The Head of the Community Health Center and the person in charge of UKM together with related cross-programs and cross-sectors make adjustments to activity plans based on the results of improvements and while still considering the needs and expectations of the community or targets (D,W)

e) The person in charge of the UKM Puskesmas informs the service coordinator of adjustments to the activity plan, implementation of activities, activity targets, cross-programs and related cross-sectors (D,W).
