Criterion 2.2.1 The scheduling for the implementation of UKM

 Standard 2.2 Ease of access for targets and the public to SME services.

Persons in charge of UKM, service coordinators and UKM activity implementers ensure easy access for targets and the community to the implementation of UKM services.

UKM Puskesmas services are easily accessible to targets and the community, to obtain information on activities and submit feedback and complaints.

a. Criterion 2.2.1

The scheduling for the implementation of UKM Puskesmas services is mutually agreed upon by taking into account input from the target, community, community groups, cross-programs and cross-sectors which is implemented in accordance with the plan.

1) Main Thoughts:

a) The successful implementation of UKM and Community Health Center activities depends on the active role of the community, community groups, families and targeted individuals.

b) The activity implementation schedule is prepared based on input from targets, the community, community groups, cross-programs and related sectors and is mutually agreed upon. The schedule contains the time, place and target of the activity.

c) In order for targets, communities, cross-programs and cross-sectors to play an active role in activities, the schedule for implementing UKM activities must be conveyed to targets, communities, community groups, cross-programs and related sectors by utilizing established communication media.

d) In order for the target to play an active role in UKM activities, the implementation of UKM activities needs to consider social conditions, community cultural values as a basis for determining the methods and technology used in implementing UKM activities.

e) Method is the method used in carrying out activities. Examples: lectures, discussions, coaching, home visits, and so on. Technology is media/audio visual aid used in carrying out activities. Examples: flip sheet, model, LCD, film and so on.

f) When changes to the schedule are made, information about the time and place for carrying out UKM activities must be agreed upon and communicated clearly and the location of the activity is easily accessible to the target UKM activities, the community and community groups.

2) Assessment Elements:

a) Schedules and information on the implementation of UKM activities are available which are prepared based on the results of agreements with targets, communities, community groups, cross-programs and related sectors (D,W).

b) The schedule for implementing UKM activities is informed to targets, communities, community groups, cross-programs and cross-sectors through established communication media (D,W).

c) There is evidence of delivery of schedule change information if there is a change in the activity implementation schedule (D, W).
