Criterion 2.1.2 COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT

 Criterion 2.1.2

The Community Health Center's UKM service planning includes community empowerment activities to overcome health problems and improve clean and healthy living behavior. The process of community empowerment activities is carried out by the community itself, facilitated by the Community Health Center.

1) Main Thoughts:

a) In an effort to improve the level of health in the work area, every activity implementer, service coordinator, and person in charge of the Community Health Center UKM is obliged to facilitate health-oriented activities through community empowerment.

b) Community empowerment in the health sector, hereinafter referred to as Community Empowerment, is a process to increase knowledge, awareness and ability of individuals, families and communities to play an active role in health efforts which is carried out by facilitating the problem solving process through an educational and participatory approach and paying attention to potential and social needs. local culture.

c) Community Empowerment Strategy includes:

(1) increasing community knowledge and ability to recognize and overcome the health problems they face;

(2) increasing public awareness through community mobilization;

(3) community development and organization;

(4) strengthening and increasing advocacy to stakeholders;

(5) increasing partnerships and participation across sectors, community institutions, community organizations and the private sector; And

(6) increasing the utilization of potential and resources based on local wisdom.

d) Implementation of Community Empowerment is carried out in stages:

(1) introduction to village/sub-district conditions;

(2) introspective survey;

(3) deliberation in the village/sub-district;

(4) participatory planning;

(5) implementation of activities;

(6) sustainability development; And

(7) integration of existing Community Empowerment programs, activities and/or institutions in accordance with community needs and agreement.

e) Community Empowerment Planning is integrated with the family health profile (prokesga) according to the definition of the Healthy Indonesia Program with a Family Approach (PIS-PK).

f) Community development/organization in empowerment is carried out by seeking the role and function of community organizations in health development. Building community awareness is the beginning of community organizing activities which are carried out by discussing their needs and hopes together, based on priority health problems according to the resources they have.

g) The form of implementation of Community Empowerment activities can be carried out through community resource health efforts (UKBM) such as posyandu, posbindu PTM, posyandu for the elderly, community caring for adolescent health, community caring for HIV/AIDS, caring for TB, community caring for maternal and child health, and so on and/or through activities in settings such as schools, Islamic boarding schools, markets, places of worship, etc.

h) Facilitation activities in the form of:

(1) carry out advocacy and outreach to the community, stakeholders and related partners to support implementation

Community empowerment;

(2) providing technical assistance and guidance in the stages of implementing Community Empowerment;

(3) coordinating with cross-sectors and stakeholders in the Puskesmas work area in implementing Community Empowerment;

(4) building partnerships with community and private organizations in the Puskesmas work area in implementing Community Empowerment

(5) developing communication, information and health education media related to Community Empowerment by utilizing potential and resources based on local wisdom;

(6) increasing the capacity of Community Empowerment assistant staff and cadres;

(7) conducting and facilitating health education to the community;

(8) mobilize the community to participate in Community Empowerment activities;

(9) regularly record and report the implementation of Community Empowerment at the sub-district and district/city levels; And

(10) periodically monitor and evaluate the implementation of Community Empowerment in the Puskesmas work area

i) The facilitation activities in question start from planning, implementing, improving and evaluating the Community Empowerment activities.

j) Community empowerment in the health sector is reflected in the proposed activity plan (RUK) and activity implementation plan (RPK) for each service coordinator and UKM community health center activity implementer.

2) Assessment Elements:

a) There are Community Empowerment facilitation activities outlined in the RUK and RPK of the Community Health Center, including Community Empowerment activities sourced from community self-help and have been agreed upon with the community in accordance with established policies and procedures (R,D,W).

b) There is evidence of community involvement in Community Empowerment activities starting from planning
