Criterion 1.4.7 utility system functions.

 Criterion 1.4.7

The Community Health Center prepares and implements management to ensure all utility systems function and prevent unavailability and failure of utility system functions.

 

1) Main Thoughts:

a) Utility systems include water, electricity, medical gas, and other supporting systems such as generators, electrical panels, water piping, and others.

b) In providing health services to service users, it requires the availability of electricity, water and medical gas, as well as other supporting systems, such as generators, electrical panels, water piping, ventilation, network systems and information technology, early fire detection systems that are appropriate to needs. Public health center. Utility system management needs to be structured to ensure availability and security to support Puskesmas service activities.

c) Water sources are sources of clean water and drinking water.

d) Backup sources of water and electricity need to be provided for replacement in the event of a water and/or electricity failure.

e) The use of medical gas and medical vacuum in health service facilities is carried out through:

(1) medical gas system,

(2) medical gas cylinders, and

(3) portable oxygen concentrator.

f) Puskesmas must provide a source of water, electricity and medical gas along with reserves for 7 days 24 hours.

g) Water, electricity, medical gas systems and other supporting systems, such as generators, water piping, electrical panels, need to be checked and maintained to maintain their availability to support service activities.

h) Clean water needs to be checked, such as periodic water quality testing in accordance with statutory provisions.

2) Assessment Elements:

a) An inventory of the utility system is carried out in accordance with ASPAK (D).

b) Management of utility systems and other supporting systems (R,D) is carried out.

c) Sources of water, electricity and medical gas and their reserves are available 7 days 24 hours for services at the Community Health Center (O).
