Criterion 2.5.3 the Healthy Living Community Movement (Germas)

 Criterion 2.5.3

Implementation of the Healthy Living Community Movement (Germas) as part of further intervention in the form of community participation in health problems.

1) Main Thoughts

a) The healthy living community movement (Germas) is a systematic and planned action carried out jointly by all components of the nation with awareness, willingness and ability to behave healthily to improve the quality of life.

b) Germas activities are an integrated part of further intervention on identified health problems in realizing clean and healthy living behavior which can be seen from changes in IKS at family and regional levels which are increasingly improving.

c) Germas aims to ensure that people maintain their health, remain productive, and live in a clean environment, characterized by the following activities: increasing education on healthy living, improving environmental quality, increasing prevention and early detection of disease, providing healthy food and accelerating nutritional improvement, improving living behavior. healthy and increased physical activity.

d) Germas targets are targets for each Germas activity, namely all levels of society, including individuals, families and communities to practice healthy lifestyles every day.

e) Community Health Centers play a role in the success of Germas, including through individual and family empowerment activities as measured by the Healthy Individual and Family Index, community empowerment as measured by the formation of UKBM and development of health-oriented areas as measured by the Healthy Community Index and Healthy Order Index.

f) These activities are planned with clarity on the type of activity, indicators for each activity, and are integrated into the UKM Puskesmas activities.

g) Implementation of GERMAS activities through community, family and individual empowerment is expected to have an impact on improving IKS at family and regional levels and the formation of UKBM.

2) Assessment Elements:

a) Germas targets are determined in the implementation of UKM Puskesmas activities by the head of the Puskesmas (R).

b) Implementation of an integrated Germas development plan in the UKM Puskesmas activities (D,W).

c) Efforts are made to implement Germas coaching involving cross-programs and related sectors to realize changes in the behavior of Germas targets (D,W).

d) Community, family and individual empowerment is carried out in realizing a healthy living community movement (D,W).

e) Evaluation and follow-up are carried out on the implementation of development of the healthy living community movement (D,W).
