Criterion 1.4.2
The Community Health Center plans and implements facility safety and security management.
1) Main Thoughts:
a) Facility safety and security management is designed to prevent injuries to service users, visitors, staff and the public, such as needle sticks, being hit by buildings or collapsing buildings, and electric shocks.
b) Facility safety and security management by providing a safe physical environment for patients, staff and visitors, needs to be planned to prevent incidents of physical violence or injury due to an unsafe physical environment such as baby kidnapping, theft and violence against staff.
c) In order to run well, the safety and security management of the facility is also supported by providing a budget, providing facilities to support facility security such as providing closed circuit television (CCTV), alarms, light fire extinguishers (APAR), evacuation routes, points gatherings, safety signs and emergency exit signs.
d) Areas that pose security risks and physical violence need to be identified and maps created to monitor and minimize the occurrence of incidents and physical violence against service users, visitors, officers and the community.
e) Providing identification tags for visitors, officers and outsourced workers is an effort to provide a safe environment.
f) The required emergency codes are established and implemented, at a minimum:
(1) code red or alarm for fire emergency notification,
(2) code blue for notification that a medical emergency has occurred.
g) Inspection of facilities is carried out to ensure security and safety.
h) If there are renovations, it is ensured that they do not disrupt services and prevent the spread of infection.
2) Assessment Elements:
a) Identification of visitors, officers and outsourced workers (R,O,W).
b) Periodic inspections of facilities are carried out which include buildings, infrastructure and equipment (R,D,O,W).
c) Simulation of emergency codes is carried out periodically (D, O, W, S).
d) Monitoring of construction work regarding safety and preventing the spread of infection (D,O,W).
